I was born in Mexico, but raised in Los Angeles.  My real name is Jaime Raul Lopez aka The Artist Mouse Lopez. The difference between the artists and me is I have been locked up for 22 years and still serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.  While incarcerated I made the choice in 2010 to start sketching.  I had done cartoon drawings but I had never stuck to it until 2010.  My thought process took me to the mindset of wanting to do more than just a shelf collecting dust.
