Claudia Hek (47) is a self-taught artist from the Netherlands and a well-respected name in the tattoo world.

Her pin-ups are known all over the world and she has had exhibitions in Switzerland, the US, Canada, Australia, among others.

In 2012 she made the artwork for the LP Tits & Ass by Golden Earring and in the same year her book The Art of Claudia Hek was released by Kintaro Publishing.

Ten years later her new book ‘the Art and Story of Claudia Hek’ was published in which she also tells her story about her recovery from addiction.

Claudia now lives and works in her native island of Terschelling, in the north of Holland in her studio under the lighthouse.
